How is Flat Eyelashes made

Let's learn about the production process of Flat Eyelash Extension :

 

I. Raw Materials: PBT Polyester Granules

Main Material: PBT, the formula used for flat lash is softer and more flexible, it is Heat resistant, non-deformable, matte black, safe for eyes.

 

1. PBT granules are heated to 230–260℃ and melted into a liquid, the lash mould with flat shape or U shape, the extruded filaments are immediately cooled and shaped in a cold water bath to maintain their flat shape.

In short: round mould produce round fibers, and flat mould produce flat fibers; they are not flattened afterward.

 

2. Thinning and Curvature Setting: The cooled flat filaments are stretched and thinned using multiple sets of rollers, controlling the thickness to 0.12/0.15/0.20mm, etc.

Simultaneous heating and mold shaping create J/B/C/D/L curl, permanently setting the shape.

 

3. Cut to demanded length and create double tips:
Cut continuous flat lashes to fixed lengths: 8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16mm.

Tips treatment: Polish/chemical treatment to create naturally split double tips, making them more voluminous and more like real eyelashes.

Round lashes are generally single-tipped, while flat lashes are mostly double-tipped.

 

4. Dyeing and matte finish: Dyed to a deep black, then coated with a matte finish, resulting in a non-reflective, non-dull black, and more natural look.

 

Then next processes are same as all other eyelashes , semi-finished item done, then workers to cuting , curling , packaging , labeling , then resulting in a finished lash tray.
