How to get lash extensions off at home?
Today we will share with you several methods of getting our eyelash extension off . You can do it yourself at home, or you can go to a beauty shop to find a professional eyelash artist to remove eyelashes. Please do not pull the grafted eyelashes with brute force!
㈠ Steam and Oil Removal
1. Remove eye makeup first. Remove mascara and eyeliner with a gentle makeup remover.
2. The face absorbs steam: hot steam is good for loosening false eyelashes. You can heat a bowl of water that is hot enough to produce steam. Facing the bowl, wrap a towel around your head to trap the surrounding steam around your eyes. You can also use a face steamer or a hot towel to apply to the face to remove the eyelashes better.
3. Soak the cotton swab with olive oil to ensure that the cotton swab is completely soaked, and then wipe the root of the eyelashes with a cotton ball, taking care not to touch the eyes. Continue to wipe the eyelashes until all thelash extension fall off.
4. Wash the eyelashes.
㈡ Use glue remover
1. Remove eye makeup. Remove eye makeup with a gentle makeup remover to reveal natural lashes as well as the roots of false lashes.
2. Dip a cotton swab with an appropriate amount of glue remover, then use the cotton swab to pass along the junction of natural eyelashes and eyelash extension , and gently circle to make the remover melt the glue and remove the eyelashes that are about to fall off. After repeating it many times, pinch the root of the grafted eyelashes with your index finger and thumb, and the eyelashes will fall off with a little force.
3. Remove the participating glue. After removing the extensions , wipe the upper eyelid once with glue remover to remove the glue involved.
4. Clean your natural eyelashes. Wash your face with warm water to wash off the residues .
㈢Professional technical removal
1. Put the lash extension patch on the lower eyelid, adjust it to fit eyeshape very well.
2. After closing the eyes, apply a layer of adhesive remover cream on the lash extensions, so that the eyelashes are completely immersed in it. At this time, be careful not to touch the skin, and apply the remover 1-2mm away from the root of the eyelashes.
3. Wrap the eyelashes with plastic wrap to speed up the scavenger to melt the glue.
4. Use a hot towel at 45-50 degrees Celsius for 5-10 minutes.
5. Remove the hot towel and plastic wrap. Remove the plastic wrap slowly from top to bottom. The false eyelashes will be removed along with the plastic wrap.
6. Wipe the excess glue remover around the eyes , and clean it with water.
