Eyelash extension material contains many different pbt types,  we introduce two most used pbt material, Korean pbt lashes and japanese pbt lash extension, these two most used , in this article, let's talk about first one - korean eyelash material.

Korean-grade material means import Korean PBT resin, then processed domestically into filaments; It comes  in both matte and glossy finishes.

I. Key Good Characteristics of korean pbt lashes

① Softness & Texture

Softness is second only to Japanese "Kawasaki" material; the fibers are lightweight, they are weightless on the eyes. soft and smooth to the touch, lacking the stiff, plastic feeling of regular domestic pbt made products.

② Matte Version (Mainstream option widely available on the market)

the matte finish is achieved through a post-production buffing process, while the glossy finish retains the raw fiber surface without abrasion.

- Features a frosted, matte finish that is non-reflective; it does not produce glare under the bright lighting of live-streaming studios or photo shoots. It holds adhesive well, offering excellent bonding strength during application.

③Color Advantages (The greatest strength of Korean-made materials)

The coloring processes for shades such as brown, burgundy, and coffee are highly refined, resulting in uniform color, minimal color variation, and abundant supply. Compared to Japanese materials, lead times for colored stock are significantly shorter, making this the preferred material for dense-set colored applications.

ⅡDisadvantages of korean lash

Curl Retention

Good elasticity; resists snapping even after repeated bending;
Compared to Japanese materials: long-time wear in high-temperature, high-humidity environments causes a slight loss of curl; curl retention is weaker than that of Japanese Kawasaki fiber.

III. Applications

1. Easy fan lash 
2. YY/W-style and Camellia-style trays; mass production;
3. Colored lashes (brown, burgundy, light brown); Korean materials are the preferred choice for colored lashes;
4. Mid-range classic lash extension(single-strand) trays; available in both matte and glossy finishes;
5. Suitable for: Export orders (Europe, US, Russia, Southeast Asia)
